The chap who is conducting this is Ludwig Wicki, who has done the Live to Projection series for The Lord of the Rings, so hopefully this will travel worldwide like that does throughout the year (I have Return of the King to look forward to this Halloween!).

Giacchino was asked about Star Wars, and has said that he wants John Williams to do it. So who knows will he do it! The TrekMovie article has a link to comments Williams made back in February, and Williams himself hopes to work on the new trilogy.
