There's been no summer here in northern England. It's bloody miserable. But this made me LOL IRL. I love these so much.

It isn't raining right now, for once, but I'm sure that won't last long. Dear England, I realise our summers are brief, but no summer is very unusual, so please to be getting over your depressive weather and let us have our two days of summer now. Kthx.

Crumbs, has it been that bad? You're going to have to migrate North. We're usually lucky if we get two nice days in a row - we had TWO MONTHS of constant sunshine. Kept waking up thinking I was on holiday.

I live in Manchester, as it is. By north you must mean Scotland, and I have no desire to move any further north.

Wow, is everywhere North of Manchester in Scotland? Who moved the border?

:) I know not everywhere north of Manchester is in Scotland. I was just being snotty because I was in a short mood.

You say that, but after a record cold winter, a rainy and miserable spring, and a cold, rainy and blustery summer, it would be nice to have some sun. I'm not asking for much. Just a few days, even. The rest of the world is having a heatwave. Even Russia is so hot it's starting fires. We? Are having the most shite year of weather. At least it hasn't snowed. Yet.

Nope, not a freak of nature. I prefer this weather most of the time, but every couple of months I would like just a few days of sun. I did move back here instead of moving to Arizona, after all, but northern England is not really the best place to live when you have seasonal affective disorder.
