Am I the only one who couldn't give a crap about the Leviathans, they're not the best baddies and I've seen nothing that makes me really want to get back on that train so I'm happy with the boys spiralling without those for however long we need.
Nope I feel the same. I think they are gonna end up sweeping this Leviathan business like they did the Eve arc. Rarely, saw her, and them boom she is dead...
I don't like the leviathans that much either. They're pretty stupid when it comes to big bads. But I hate that they're just ignoring their self-proclaimed baddies. It made sense in S1, but it doesn't, really, anymore.
That's basically it, yeah. If they aren't going to deal with them for the bulk of the season, then they shouldn't build them up as this big, terrible foe.
This. I understand it's hard to keep increasing the stakes after the freaking apocalypse, but JMO they did an awful job with Eve and they're doing only a marginally better job with the Leviathan (though obviously the big battles with them are yet to come).
It may not be the hoped-for viewing experience, but I generally look at most of the plot of the show as filler between adorable brother moments. Lovely, enjoyable filler, but filler. *Shrugs* It's how I roll.
YES. this. let's be honest half the time i have no idea what's going on plotwise because i'm too busy going DID DEAN JUST TOUCH SAM'S SHOULDER, I THINK HE DID, THEY STILL CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER
