Ausiello casting spoilers!
At this rate, Robert Englund is going to surpass Summer Glau as cult TV’s No. 1 go-to guest star. Filmdom’s original Freddy Krueger has closed a deal to appear in the Dec. 10 episode of Supernatural, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Englund will play a character known simply as Dr. Robert.
“Hunters often find themselves in situations where they need medical attention but can’t exactly stroll into an ER,” explains exec producer Sera Gamble. “Robert plays an unlicensed doc who makes his living stitching folks up on the down low. One of our guys goes to him with a life or death problem.”
