Yeah, probably you just know 2 or 3 spanish skaters, so I have here for you a little summary about what happened in Spanish Nats last weekend
Here's the
link with the protocols
Senior Men
Javier Fernandez did a good SP, but his LP was a disaster. People say that he had a bad fall in the LP's warm-up . So Javier Raya won the competition with two solid performances.
To all the Javi stans, don't worry, Spain has 2 spots for the European championships, and he has a secured spot for the World Championships.
These are their LPs and their gala performances (both skated to their short programs)

4 Aritz MAESTU BABARRO 117.48
5 Dimitris CHRISTODULIDES 116.09
Senior Ladies:
Sonia Lafuente didn't compete because she had a little injury in one of her knees. So there was only 1 competitor in this category, Monica Gimeno. She's been practicing roller skating her whole life, and she has even won the European Championships twice. This was her first time in a figure-skating national championship.
Sonia has the spot for Euros and Worlds secured.

Junior Pairs
well guys, this pair have been training together since summer, and both are single skaters, so their level is quite low, but it's a nice effort to try pairs at the same time than single skating. He competed in Senior Men and she competed in Novice girls.
