Fabulous story of Stéphane and Plushy eating sushi together Translation by
originallove and
ontk_ontk_o The sushi chef (I think the blogger is a guy) was working on the design of the cut surface of the sushi he was to exhibit/sell for an future event (eg.
http://www.junka-sports.net/sakaenaka/?p=442). Plushy & Stephane saw this as they came in and was impressed. The sushi chef showed them his skills and they chatted for an hour on the importance of inspiring people with their work and bringing up the next generation to follow in their footsteps. Plushy wished him to become the best sushi chef in the world.
When the two were about to leave, the sushi chef noticed there were three tickets lying on the table. He called out to them to say they've forgotten the tickets, to which they responded, "now it's our turn to show you our skills." The tickets were for the front rows of the FaOI show. The sushi chef of course went to see them skate and was deeply impressed. He wrapped up his blog by promising to inspire as many people with his sushi work.
As I(the blogger) talked with them, I ended up demonstrating my sushi skills such as sushi making and knife cutting in front of men who are active in the world wide. After that I talked with them deeply for about an hour. At the end of the conversation, Mr. Plushenko said “Please become the No.1 best sushi chef in the world.” Mr. Plushenko also said “let’s be a person who shoulders the world each other.” (It seems too far for me to be in the world-class, but I'll try to do my best to win the sushi skills competition that will be held next November and also to win the world sushi skill competition that will be held in February next year.) There is a thing that Mr. Plushenko and Mr. Lambiel said again and again. The two, who are on the top of the world, said that (it was important) to make an impression on people and to develop the next generation. I feel much empathy with them! I realized that we had the same thoughts toward the work, even though we have been worked on different fields. They left three tickets when leaving. When I asked them in my broken English saying "there are something left" because I thought they just forgot to bring them, they said, "it is our turn to show our skills"
...and
more!
The sushi chef had the chance to talk with Stephane again. He says he can't write about the details about what happened and what they did because he doesn't want to infringe his privacy, but one thing he wants to emphasize is that Stephane really is a wonderful person. He says that Stephane looks good, has a great personality, he's flawless: a kind of person who has "heart, skills, and body". He promised Stephane to become a dream maker, and to be number one of the world in his profession. They also promised to meet again when Stephane comes back to Japan next year.
