HELP WISH MAO A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Aug 31, 2010 23:25

YOU KNOW YOU WANT CHAIRMAN MAO TO SEE YOUR FACE OR ARTWORK OR HEAR YOUR VOICE FOR HER BIRTHDAY!

In celebration of Mao Asada's 20th birthday, the fans at Ballerina on Ice are trying to organize a little birthday present for her, and we're hoping you BBs/BAMFs will participate. We're going to compile a DVD with happy birthday messages from fans all over the world. Then, we'll send it to Mao herself!

The guidelines for those who want to participate are under the cut:

• Let me know of your interest. I'll need your email (you can message me or email maobirthdayproject@gmail.com if you're uncomfortable publicly giving your email.

• Choose whether you would like to participate in:
  • 1. Private video to Mao, which could be seen by her only.

  • 2. Public video, which would be uploaded to Youtube. However, we would use the unlisted video option so that there would be no privacy issues and to avoid negative comments from haters/bashers/trolls.

  • 3. Both public and private videos. You can make two versions of your message if you'd like, or send just one submission to be used for both videos.

• Choose how you would want to submit your message from the following:
  • 1. Prepare a video clip of yourself sending a birthday message to Mao in person. (Don't forget to say the name of your country!)

  • 2. Prepare a birthday message in text, both in your own language and a translation of it in English or Japanese provided by a photo/illustration/avatar representing yourself. (Don't forget to put the name of your country!)

  • 3. An audio clip of the writer reading out the message that can be attached to [2]

  • 4. Optional: Fanarts/blends/manipulation graphics that can be attached to [1] or [2]
• For both videos and audio files, the maximum time is 30 seconds.

• There is no preferred format for video files, although it would be easier if the audio files are in Mp3 format.

• Deadline is on September 17, but that may change if editing will need to take more time.

• If you want to participate in the making of it (subbing, video editing, promotion, etc), please visit this thread: http://maoasada.logu2.com/mao-chat-f5/birthday-video-for-mao-participators-t842.htm. If you want to read the origins of this idea and how it started, check out this thread: http://maoasada.logu2.com/mao-chat-f5/mao-s-birthday-t839-30.htm If you have any concerns or inquiries, email us at: maobirthdayproject@gmail.com.
