AllThatSports (ATS), the management company of "the Skating Queen" Yu-Na Lee, has confirmed the breakup between the skater and her coach, Brian Orser.
According to ATS's press release, "(...)through phone conversation from Canada, (we have been able to find out that) relationship between Orser and Yu-Na has been uncomfortable since May, when there was a rumour that another skater has contacted Orser for a coaching job, and because of this Yu-Na has been training by herself since June."
"Another skater" means Japan's Mao Asada, who has contacted Orser for a coaching job. ATS added that Yu-Na's team "has proposed to Orser to have 'a break', which Orser agreed, so she has been training by herself, and with her choreographer, David Wilson, when she needed to practice her program."
