Also passed at the ISU Congress were new ISU Championships qualification guidelines. More information will be posted once it is available.

I don't really know how this will turn out but it doesn't sound entirely positive :/

Immediately after Gorshkov's RFSF election, speculation abounded that Alla Shekhovtseva, an ISU judge -- and wife of Valentin Piseev -- would run for the vacancy. This week she was elected.

WELL FUCK ME SIDEWAYS

My thoughts EXACTLY? WTF, ISU - it's not enough that Pisseev is a curse of the Russian FS, now the family will be the global FS's problem?

Yes, I've read it, I hope Sikh will actually O something about it.
Tarasova said that it wan't the wisest decision for Anton to withdraw, because he could do something from the inside if he would get elected.

Argh.... Tarasova also defended Piseev's from Plushy's "atacks" after Olympics! :-(

I think she tries to be neutral in the situation (she was very pro-Plush during the Olys), she has her reasons, I guess.

May be or may be she just doesn't feel confident enough after her return to Russia to pick up a fight with FFKKR. She needs rinks and funds and that depends on Piseev and Co.

I'm sure that Tarasova has less reason to worry, than Plushy....

But he's young. He still has a lot of energy. She on the other hand is not so young :-/

She has, she fought too hard for Yags to assumeshe doesn't have them, but she probably just has no power left to try to break through a brick wall with her head.

She could "join heads" and forces with younger forces - Plushy and Anton :-)

... but, enough about her - I am just disappointed about her ;-)
