This is my first post. Some of you suggested I post and I noticed there were no photos of the reception. I have a few...some I left out because there are people whose faces I am not sure they want on the internet. I threw some tags up, but feel free to add some more....
The show was wonderful....of course the Johnny parts I loved the best. I enjoyed "Heartbroken" more than "Bad Romance" because the former was more graceful and more like ballet. It is also awesome to see him jump in person and feel his raw energy. It was also real sweet to see his body in that tank top...but I digress...I could not get good pics of the show because even though I was close, the stupid plexi blocked things.
Here is the scarf I knitted Johnny...I actually finished it the morning of! I'm so pissed b/c when I gave it to him, I should have pulled it out all the way to show him. Right during when he was talking to me (and APOLOGIZED to me for making me wait), Tara came up to him and said something to him in Russian which I didn't understand, but I assumed it was to wrap it up. That got me nervous and I pulled the scarf part way out to show it to him and told him I knitted him a scarf which he smiled and said thank you and I said "I hope you like black and white" and he said "Of course of course!" I should have taken the whole thing out and taken my time! Grrrrr....
Close up of same scarf. Knitted, not crocheted.
Some shots of me speaking with Johnny's mom, Patti Moore Weir. She and her sister just walked into the restaurant where a bunch of us were before the show. She was so, so sweet and very gracious! Now I know where her son gets his manners!
I did not take this next one of Johnny performing Heartbroken, but it was on lifeskate.com...still...it was awesome....
Johnny with some of the Ice Dreams skaters...I didn't take this one either:
Next are some Johnny candids:
If you look closely, you can see a big tattooed guy holding a hot pink bag...that's my bag with the gifts I gave him!
So presh...
Eyelashes!!!
Tara and Paris
Johnny and me...his head is cut off a bit, but it is better than the alternative pic where my mouth is open like I am catching flies. I am so glad this person (whoever she was that I handed my camera off to) mercifully retook it. I would have been MORTIFIED if the only one I had was the one with my fat trap open.
Johnny and his cupcakes from the Facebook Fan Group. This pic and cover pic are courtesy of a girl from Facebook.
I'm glad I blew my birthday money and went. The event was nice..I didn't have one bit of food at the reception...I should have as it looked really good...
