Don't know how I feel about this, as the market is already saturated with people whose voices are digitally remastered to sound better than they really are in live performances. I am acquainted with so many cool peeps here in Austin that can naturally sing that... I dunno. It makes me kind of mad, because these people have been working really hard to try and make it for a while now. And here Johnny comes along, and on name recognition alone gets the big name producer, etc...
I feel like he's just grasping at straws here, as far as what to do with himself (which I can relate to in a sense, as I'm graduating college in May, but seriously dude...). Which would be fine if it were with something he seemed to have previously gravitated toward, like with fashion and all, but this...? Who knows, maybe he'll be able to pull it out of his bumb, but color me very wary at the moment.
