OH YEAH, SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO STOP EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS OF COMMENTS. IF I SWITCH THEM OFF I WON'T STOP EVERYONE FROM GETTING NOTIFS, WILL I? AND WILL I STILL GET EMAILS FOR REPLIES TO MY COMMENTS?

When you make the post, there's a comment settings option (dropdown menu) that says 'don't notify'. If you choose that, no comment from that post will drop in your inbox; unfortunately that also includes replies made directly to you in that particular entry.

I THINK I CLICKED THAT LAST TIME AND GOT NO REPLIES, WHICH IS GOOD, BUT THEN I PANICKED THAT EVERYONE ELSE WAS BLOCKED TOO!

Nah, the other folks in the post are fine, it's just annoying for the OP. :D

Yeah if you click no comments it only stops YOU the original poster from getting notifications, not everyone. And I thought you would still get notifications to comments you make yourself, but someone else just said you wouldn't....I guess you'll see!

OK, THAT'S GOOD. I CAN COPE WITH CHECKING FOR REPLIES MYSELF I JUST DON'T WANT TO FUCK IT UP FOR EVERYONE ELSE! THANK YOU :)

Actually I think the word is something like 'don't notify', not 'no comments' lol, I wasn't awake when I wrote that. But yeah, I use it when I've made viewing threads in other comms and everyone always still gets their notifications.
