So Stars on Ice has a blog running, it's sort of interesting and a little bit cute, there's an explanation of why that lamb was backstage and some goofy pictures of people on the tour. Basically just copy/pasted everything from
here.
Well, show two and three are complete…check! Thank you Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando for starting us off right with an enthusiastic and warm welcome…we loved visiting your cities and skating on your ice!
Of course we thoroughly enjoy recapping all the great highlights from each performance and will be doing plenty of that here BUT…..for tonight….ladies and gentlemen….IT’S A BUS BLOG (you may see these from time to time)…..
As we roll along to Tampa, Alissa Czisny, Mirai Nagasu, Jeremy Barrett, Caydee Denney, Jeremy Abbott & Meryl Davis answer a few of the more “important” questions of the day as well as provide highlights from Stars On Ice 2010 Day 3 on the road….
Top 3 all-time pertinent and important SSOI questions:
Question 1: What goes on back stage at a stars on ice show - interviews, physiotherapy, quick changes?
Answer 1: Yes, all of these things but those are just “ehhh….typical day stuff”…..more interestingly, here’s what went on Back of House in Orlando today: The Stars On Ice cast and crew were delighted to meet a local staff member who owns a farm in the area and is raising a tiny lamb. As you can see, we’ve got a few animal lovers on board and this guy was probably the most well-loved lamb in all of Florida….or maybe anywhere.
Question 2: How many people can fit (comfortably?) in a tour bus cabinet? (it’s important that everyone knows this information….)
Answer: Two. (Jeremy Abbott & Alissa Czisny provide an illustration for those of you who may be visual learners…)
Question 3: What shenanigans really happen on a SSOI tour bus post 10PM?
Answer Every night is different but as we speak this is what’s going on: A rousing game of of “I never” in which Caydee just declared she has never tripped over her toe-pick and gone flying across the ice. Maryl has now responded with, “Oh, I have……..about 1 hour ago in Orlando!!” HA! Proof….the ice is slippery…even to Olympic Athletes. That’s OK…you’re not an official cast member until you’ve officially bitten it…at least once….Meryl, welcome.
Well, the Karaoke bus (as we’ve been deemed) is rolling into Tampa and we’ve got a quick sleep and our first matinee performance just a few hours away! We can’t wait to meet you tomorrow in Tampa! Sunday, April 4th- St. Pete Times Forum…4PM…See you there!
Also, because I feel bad about just copy/pasting a blog entry, here's some pictures from skating with the stars.
