Kavaguti and Smirnov to miss Euros :'(

Former European pairs champions Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov will miss this month's European Championships because the latter has not recovered from appendix surgery.

I'm sad that they won't get to compete at Euros, but glad that they're getting extra time to heal from their earlier injuries. Any surgery sucks, but at least it's not a new skating-related injury on top of the older ones...appendix removal is pretty straight-forward.

I'm sad that my bbs are not going to euros but yeah healthy is first and I prefer this so they kick ass in worlds!!!

I hope that Sasha gets well soon and that his recovery goes well. It's for the best that they skip Euros and I can't wait to see them at Worlds!
