THIS IS A TRULY ENORMOUS POST CHRONICLING THE ADVENTURES OF TEAM USA LAST WEEK!
Once upon a time (aka about a week ago, aka ON MY BIRTHDAY, actually!), all of our fave Americans converged on Colorado Springs for an annual ritual known as Champs Camp! They hopped onto their various planes, and made four thousand identical jokes about the high altitude!
...yes jeremy we know you have awful travel luck SORRY ABOUT THE LAYOVER DUDE

Meanwhile, Jeremy began his educational series, "What I Learned at Champs Camp," with a startling discovery:
Even former Champs Campers had a thing or two to say!

And old friends were reunited!

Alex Shibutani remembered childhood dreams...

DAY TWO
On Day Two of Champs Camp, our intrepid heroes skated their short programs, talked to Universal Sports, and continued to tweet regularly!
...and in the case of Ross Miner, apparently played some tennis?

Ricky apparently talked with USFSA instead of Universal? IDK.
Christina and Charlotte & Dean did interviews too, but they're on IceNetwork, so they won't embed. Watch them here and here. (ESPECIALLY watch Christina's. It's the cutest. Apparently Mirai talks about coyotes in her sleep.)
Later that evening, Adam got to try out a new hairstyle!
Even Adam's webmaster seemed a bit confused...
And after she finished laughing at Adam's hair, Mirai took the time to remind us that she and her coach are really, really, OH SO REALLY VERY MUCH not on the same page.
And thus ended the hard part of Champs Camp...
...leaving only a day of adorkable team builders to go!
DAY FOUR!
Lynn and Logan (#BRONZEATNATSORDIETRYING) started the day with a nice walk
Whereas Ross, being an east coaster, had to leave Champs Camp early to outrun the hurricane, thus missing out on the best part of the week :( He was still there in spirit, though!
Jeremy had another... learning moment...
Amanda hung out with the girls
and then went for ice cream with Lynn & Logan
...and Ricky forgot his own birthday /o\
Meanwhile, back in Detroit, Georgia Glastris suddenly realized that everyone she knew was missing.
That evening, it was time for the teambuilder:
'90s NIGHT!!!!
Apparently, they were divided into teams!
...and forced to play really, really weird games while in costume!
Apparently Team Meryl (surely the best of all teams!) did not do very well :(

Jeremy went out to a jazz bar for the evening
And the 90s Night champions celebrated their victory!

THE FINAL DAY OF CHAMPS CAMP 2011
Of course, all good things must come to an end, and on Sunday afternoon, all our skaters began to disperse...
No one was happier about this than Georgia Glastris, since #champscampstoleallherfriends
But don't worry, the fun didn't end there!
