Can pairs skaters be older? MAYBE PLUSHY AND JOHNNY SHOULD BECOME A PAIRS COUPLE AND COMPETE AND WIN GOLD IN SOCHI THIS WAY, SO IT WON'T MATTER IF THEY'RE "OLD". IT WORKED IN BLADES OF GLORY.

oh yeah, i get what you're saying and i agree with you. it was obvious this year he's not at the same level he was before his first retirement. but he's my bb and my favourite and i love him so much, i just don't want him retiring again, because it would mean i don't get to watch him skate. the figure skating was kinda dull without him for me. but if i switch the delusional fan mode off for a second or two, it's pretty obvious he won't be able to follow this through. and i think that's best for him & his body:)

it must be so tempting to hold on for a while longer to try to skate for your home country. but it would probably be better for him to admit when it's over for him than skate at sochi and completely fall flat.
