(03/16/2011) - Just days before the 2011 ISU World Figure Skating Championships were to start on March 20 in earthquake-battered Tokyo, the event is still in limbo.

THE SKATERS ARE THE PEOPLE THE WHOLE FUCKING EVENT REVOLVES AROUND. NO MATTER WHERE OR WHEN IT'S HELD, IF IT'S NOT AT A TIME WHEN SKATERS CAN REASONABLY PREPARE FOR IT, IT WILL SUCK. WHAT DOESN'T HE FUCKING UNDERSTAND?

Ugh just accept it can't be hosted in Japan this year, guarantee them Worlds in 2014, try to hold it in another city in April or May, or cancel it. Don't keep fucking everyone around like this.

Yep yep I agree. I think part of the problem is that Japan is such an important federation, and he doesn't want to piss them off, but surely everyone can see that October makes no sense. Maybe if Russia, France, the US and Chanada started kicking up a fuss he'd back down on this.

But why doesn't Japan realize this and say they're okay with moving Worlds elsewhere? They're screwing over their own skaters too.
