Pair dancing at the microphone

Sarah Meier (26) and Stéphane Lambiel (25) are stars with a sense of humor. The reigning European champion and two-times world champion had an appointment yesterday in a recording studio.

For what? "I thought to read a text. But if I had known I would have to sing, I would have preferred to stay at home," says Golden Sarah. She confesses: "I cannot sing. My voice is hoarse innate. As a child I had to go to a language school". Then she starts singing «Zwei Spuren im Schnee», the smash hit of Vico Torriani († 1998), - and sounds surprisingly good. But 2006 Olympic silver medalist Lambiel sounds almost perfect! The Ice Prince gives it all. "I love to sing, " - he says.

One hour later, the perfect ice couple Meier and Lambiel again at the microphone for an exhilarating duet. Both agree: "It's always exciting to try something new."

They have sung on the way for the 26th February broadcast TV show "Happy Day". "It was a happy day for us, " says radiant Meier.

Sarah Meier, Stéphane Lambiel together recorded a song

What a surprise: For the Happy Day show, two figure skaters Stéphane Lambiel Sarah Meier recorded a song. The two take on this task sporting ...
If they don't hear it, it is not hoarse ... Or is it? Happy Day for the mission, two figure skaters Stéphane Lambiel Sarah Meier were invited to a recording studio in Zurich. What the two do not know is that they are to record a medley, a compilation of various winter songs.
The two artists showed true sportsmanship and faced the microphone without hesitation. "I like to sing and sing a lot, " admits Stéphane Lambiel. It goes so well also because figure skating as well as singing is about expressing emotions. A taste of Stephane Lambiel's interpretation of Vico Torriani song "Two tracks in the snow" you can get here (see above):

And Sarah Meier is in the trouble with the same song, as she admits frankly she cannot sing. "I feel the rhythm, but the sound has to go through my my hoarse throat." As a child, she was a little hoarse at the high tones, says the 26-year-old . The "Müschterli" of Sarah Meier singing is here (also above):
