Paleontologists in Queensland, Australia have discovered the nearly-complete skeleton of a giant wombat-like creature called a diprotodon.
The rhinoceros-sized marsupials lived 2.5 million years ago, and researchers say they became extinct 55,000 years ago due to climate change and the arrival of humans.
The tooth of a giant lizard called a goanna was also found with the bones, which probably explains how this particular diprotodon died.
