I thought cell phones were supposed to increase sensitivity to radio frequencies, not cancer risk. I recall reading about people developing hypersensitivity to things as innocuous as microwaves and power lines. Or am I just imagining things?
Heck if I know. You're probably right, considering most of what I read was, iirc, anecdotal evidence, but I don't remember where I found the info. OP's article just reminded me of it, is all.
this is disappointing news. i was seriously hoping brain tumors would be the karma for all the morons who drive while on their cell phones who almost crash into my car on a daily basis. ugh.
its one of my biggest pet peeves. the only thing worse is texting and driving. so many teenagers die because of it, and they still do it. like, cool, checking your notifications is worth your life? really? really?
I think a lot of it is people with minimal knowledge of science going "Radiation causes cancer. Microwaves and radio waves are radiation. Therefore, microwave oven and mobile phones cause cancer!"
