ahaha, the video actually is almost an argument in favour of it? you get to look back on your life and feel proud of your acheivements and keep yourself in check. still, though. constand monitoring from corporations. dnw.

Doesn’t sound that invasive, but then there’s the REMtertainment system. A small device monitors your dreams, and slips advertising in between. Dreamt about your dad dancing with a giant Cola can? Well, that just means it’s all working out. More bonus points!

Didn't they employ this idea at a high school sometime back? I seem to remember a high school granting experience points and charisma and stuff like that to kids who did well ...

My mistake!

The more I think about it, the more I realize that this isn't that new of an idea. Religion does the same thing. Do good things, obey the rules, don't kill anybody, and you get to go to Heaven. This is just a new context wherein to manipulate people to do things they already have the sensibilities to do anyway, but with a rewards system.
