Parents might actually have to talk to their children after the movie?! Oh the humanity!

And you know, from what people are saying, it doesn't sound like kids would really get it anyway. (Disclaimer, I haven't seen the movie.)

None of the kids were the ones who reacted to that part when I saw it. I definitely think it went sailing right over their heads.

Actually, most of the kids in the theatre seemed really bored by about half-way in (yawning and fidgeting around and not even scared when I thought they would be). It's a great movie but the humor seems to be a bit too old/inaccessible for really young ones. It's subtle, with a lot of references.

You've made me even more excited to see it, honestly!

I haven't laughed so much at a movie in a long time so I hope you enjoy it when you do see it!

I hate that. "How can I take my child out in public if I then have to talk to my child?!"

A woman at a library where I worked complained about the covers of romance covers being seen by her 14-year-old. I wanted to tell her to PLEASE discuss sensuality with her child! She could even tell her daughter than cleavage and bare-chested men embarrass her. Gah.
