If any of y'all are interested in helping to support marriage equality in these states, feel free to check out Marylanders for Marriage Equality, Washington United for Marriage, Mainers United for Marriage, and Minnesotans United for All Families.

My partner and I are volunteering and fundraising for Minnesotans United for all Families and we are making hilarious videos every time we raise $50, which we've gotten to do once (thanks to my mom, hehe):

Full recipe for the cookies I made is in the video description if you open it up on Youtube. THEY'RE REALLY GOOD I'M EATING ONE RN OM NOM NOM

I actually have a post about this (including links to all four organizations, not just my stuff) up on Tumblr if anyone is interested in some rebloggage :D

Speaking as a Marylander who gets polling calls, most of them deal with gambling. In the last call, marriage was only about one question in the entire poll. Of course, I unplugged the phone 3 week ago because I was sick of the collection agencies calling for the people who had the number before me, so I don't know what the latest set of questions are.

I'm not very optimistic.

But at least it's a vote to legalize same-sex marriage, not a vote for a constitutional ban. At least they can try again until it works.

I fervently hope it passes.

But the whole thing is so fucked up in the first place. The majority should not get to vote on the civil rights of the minority.
