I would love to have a good Hispanic show on mainstream TV. It gets really old seeing Hispanic folk stereotyped as con-men, sex workers, and undocumented immigrants. That said, I have severe doubts in contemporary writing making anything I could watch without cringing.

The first two Hispanic shows I could think of were the George Lopez show and The Brothers Garcia. They still weren't even remotely relatable for myself, but it's a start, I guess.

Shelby Woo, but that was ages ago and it was on Nickelodeon.

The one show with an Asian-American lead that I can think of right now is Nikita, and she is SURROUNDED by white people. And they just added another white male regular to the cast. SMH.

Well, if you're gonna go with animated shows, there's also Avatar: The Last Airbender. But while animation is cool, it's not the same as live-action, if only because you get a lot of dumbasses who think that the characters in the cartoons are actually white.

And Nikita is still worth watching bb! It just has its share of problems. And Maggie Q is indeed awesome. She did a stunts demonstration at this year's SDCC (there's actually a video of that, if you want to google), which was amazing.

I've heard people say that Maggie Q as Nikita just feeds into more stereotypes about Asians and martial arts, which is stupid because Nikita isn't a martial arts show.
