I am all for rehiring teachers and firefighters, and I am a member of the American people. I would go even further and say we need more teachers then we had pre-recession in order to meet the current demand.

I'm like, where are these people going? Down a black hole? They're still gonna need teachers, and most of them are likely gonna need teachers IN THE US, unless Romney's got a master plan to get people to move to other countries en masse by fucking America up spectacularly (which I'll totally believe sooner than I will his analysis of how many teachers we'll need).

SERIOUSLY, if anything most of my friends who went to school to become teachers ended up moving abroad to teach english because that's where all the options are.
