The horrific face-eating arrest in Miami and several other seemingly subhuman acts has many people wondering what's behind this flesh-munching wave of terror.
A zombie apocalypse, however, is not what we should be worried about, at least according to the federal government.
(
Paranoia under here. )
The fact that this is even a story is absurd.
Of course, perhaps the CDC felt the need to issue the warning since they had their Zombie Survival page active since 2011. And the popularity of that show ... Walking Dead or something?
The case with the body parts in the basement is Jeffrey Dahmer style serial murder. The bath salts thing is ... well, I don't know enough about bath salts to know if they can induce that level of violence but even on PCP I can't remember any stories related to cannibalism. I know this hasn't been associated with prescription amphetamines, methamphetamine, or cocaine - all reportedly similar to bath salts. Or DXM or Ketamine, such profound dissociatives that people enter completely altered states where reality does not exist (in high doses). Maybe if they just legalized drugs, idiots wouldn't resort to stuff like "bath salts" to get high and there could be some actual drug related harm reduction.
Meanwhile, I'll just keep paying $1 for a month's supply of my dextroamphetamine for narcolepsy while picking up a Big Gulp priced 2x as much as other states and $12.50 for one pack of cigarettes on the way out of the drugstore..
