Republican have always been focused on other people's sex lives rather than people themselves. Easier to think of them as less than human that way.

LOL,yeah, initial response to reading that was "Wow, I know a LOT of people who'd be into that."

Second response: "But that's really not good motorcycle safety."

I read that as boob safety and immediately began to think about the whiplash involved with riding topless. Ow.

you're so safety-minded!

I think they mostly do the shirtless thing at parades that go 3 mph, so there isn't really a serious risk.

Yeah, imagine a bumble-bee or big grasshopper hitting your boob at sixty miles an hour. OW. Hell, hitting anywhere uncovered. Not fun!

Yes. I'm all for equal-opportunity topless laws (and culture), but a motorcycle is a stupid place to display skin because the laws of physics don't give a damn what they shred.

*not quite dyke, per se, plans on motorcycle-having once affordability occurs, will be making extensive purchases of armor and helmet and possibly the awesome $1200 dayglo yellow-and-black leather coveralls/catsuit thing I saw this one time*

I've never heard the shirtless motorcycle riding stereotype before, and I used to live in a really conservative, homophobic area. Riding shirtless sounds painful, anyway.
