Wait, all the news stories I'm finding about this incident say that it's ONE soldier, not that it makes it any better but no story I'm finding say that this was done by a group of soldiers.

Same here. From what I've been reading, I think it comes from some of the neighbors who could not believe one person alone could cause such carnage.

I read this story over 12 hours ago and it stated that it was ONE soldier who went into town on his own and started killing people. Then the soldier turned himself in to the military authorities.

last night my sources said that three civilians had been wounded, and then a couple hours after that there were 3 dead, 3 wounded and the count rose all night. and all by one guy.

it makes the military look like its trying to hide this. everytime new info appears they are like "this is what happened" then "THIS is what happened" and the more they repeat it with new info....

"A single soldier, identified as an Army staff sergeant, had surrendered to authorities in connection with Sunday's killings, according to U.S. officials, but village elders in the rural Panjwai district, the site of the slayings, told NPR that more than one American soldier was involved in attacks in separate hamlets."
