Despite attempts by a conservative American mothers' group to have it pulled from sale, the new Archie comic, which features a gay marriage, has just sold out.

The thing I can't grasp is if... you have a million moms, one of them has to be a parent to a gay/lesbian child at some point.

Unless it's just three of them using the "million" alliteratively, which is probably more likely.

I remember when Ellen Degeneres talked about them, she mentioned their Facebook page only had about 40,000 people on it or something like that.

having a gay child doesn't necessarily mean that a person stops being homophobic. While some do come around and learn to accept their gay child, some don't
