Can I take a minute to say that I so hate when people say "Democrat party." WTF is that? Democrats, sure. But they are members of the Democratic Party, not Democrat Party.

I believe it was a deliberate rebranding attempt by the GOP's pet talking heads; they're not "democratic." Because democratic is good, we love democracy, we promote democracy.

Actually, Wikipedia tells us it goes back farther than I had realized, all the way back to Willkie vs Roosevelt.
