I actually think this campaign is really clever, technical difficulties aside. Nothing gets a person attention more than not being allowed to see something.
How would they even know they weren't being allowed to see it? The screen doesn't seem to give any kind of indication that they are being excluded from something.
But yeah, I have to say ... it's amazing how technology dramatically emphasizes the extreme ways that binary code is placed upon gender on a daily basis.
I find this statement interesting, as technology (computers, software) is made up of binary code... I wonder how different our knowledge of math and computers would be if from the beginning different genders and gendered behaviour was considered normal.

Given that most people prefer not to see ads whenever they're given the choice, I'm really not sure this comparison does much.
That technology is eeenteresting, tho.
