This might make sense if the Middle East didn't already have a state with a stockpile of nuclear weapons.

I'm hoping the US/NATO are smarter than that. Of course, no matter what happens with the US and NATO, Israel is gonna do what Israel is gonna do. Let's just hope they don't drag us into it.

EXACTLY. If I lived that close to an armed Israel, considering their behavior lately, I might even want some defenses.

you know, i recorn that iran is proberbly seeking to devlope nukes, but i suspect that someone else is respoble for the embessy attacks. i cant work out what they would achive for iran...
