So horrific ._.
Here is a petition...not 100% sure if it's the "official" one, or if there are several of them?

The day Troy Davis was murdered by the State of Georgia, Amnesty International sent out an email talking about all the other 'Troy Davis' in the world'. I believe that Rodney Reed was one mentioned in the article.

Quite aside from whether or not Reed is innocent, the death penalty is archaic and tantamount to torture - no matter who it is, I'll campaign and campaign until it is part of human history.

Whatever happened to guilty beyond a shadow of reasonable doubt for capital cases?

Oh wait, that only applies to rich white dudes :|

Honestly, not even then. Once we decide that someone is a no-good murderer, they are no longer people in our eyes.

After that fucking awful arson case (where the court ORDERED all investigations into the incident to stop), I have no faith in the American justice system, with a seething hatred for Texas, who has killed at least one innocent man recently.

Watch "After Innocence" to learn about how the justice system fucks over men, many of them of color, who are actually innocent of crimes in favor of the finality of verdicts and keeping crimes solved.
