I can see your point there. The Cabinet ministers getting nervous could yet force Cameron's hand though, depending on who they are.

I'm torn.

On the one hand, there's been a fuck of a lot of misinformation about this bill. On the other, a reorganisation is really not what the NHS neds right now.

I hope they don't drop plans to centralise funds for trans* services- it's such a massive postcode lottery at the moment and hopefully centralisation would mean the people making decisions had at least actually read the WPATH guidelines. The current system leaves far too much to local councils and having to write begging letters to them in order to get care I need is both humiliating and stretches the process out for far too long.
