I wish them success, I love Double Fine's work they always have great characters and stories in their games.

I would not be too harsh on Angry Birds though, it's popular because it plays like an old school arcade game. I see a lot of return to that in these indie games and casual games.

OT, but the other day I saw a van in town with a tire cover that was an Angry Bird. All red, with a 3D beak in the middle of it (I wasn't close enough to see if it had eyes). It looked like it was knitted! ;)

Good for them.

Are we allowed to give signal boosts to other gaming ventures? If not, I'll delete. There's this RPG-in-progress being created primarily for/by LGBTQ and people of color, something practically nonexistent in gaming. They are also looking for donations if possible. They have character designs and more info on the project at the links below.

I think Double Fine Adventure is a little more likely to get an actual game out, since they're well known, experience quantities. :/

It's going towards an old school point/click adventure game, but I'd imagine if that went well and they made enough money, they'll put it towards Psychonauts 2.

No, they're working on a deal with Notch from Minecraft to make Psychonauts 2 happen. Tim Schafer said in an interview he wanted to make it happen, and Notch tweeted, "Ok, let's do this."
