I worked at a fitting room desk for several years. I can't imagine being legally required to enforce such a rule. While we did occasionally have to chase creeper dudes out of the women's side (women who go shopping with friends do seem to have a habit of running from room to room half dressed if they don't all fit in one room), there were also times when there were very valid reasons for letting people go in the opposite gender fittings rooms-parents who wanted to go in with their children, disabled and/or elder couples where one needed help, hell even just couples who wanted to go in together (although we usually tried to direct those folks to the fitting rooms closest to the desk where we could prevent the men (guys never seemed to care about women on the men's side) from disturbing the women.

Yes, Tennessee, rather than fix actual problems like unemployment (trust me it is bad here), you pull more discriminatory shit.

My fucking state. :|

Yeah, it's my state too and I just can't. I CAN'T.

How will my roommate and I try on dresses together like we did the other day? (He's a gay guy who sometimes likes to wear women's clothing at home and in dressing rooms).

I live in Columbia, unemployment is so awful here.
Instead of discriminating against gays and Muslims, perhaps Haslam and his band of merry idiots should do something about unemployment, the ridiculously high AIDS rate, or any of our pothole-filled freeways.
