About your nitpick..... yeah. It's hard enough finding sex information for women that's untainted by the male gaze in the first place, but finding sex info that's not an ocean of gender fail is next to impossible. I'm trying to supplement that by having a collection of posts about gender identity and related topics after I get the initial LGBTQIA post up. I'll throw in a Women's Health/Gender Identity crossover post if it's something people are interested in.

In most of my Google searches, the top results were from shit like AskMen.com. Like, forreal?

In addition, I was trying to help with the images for things like women's pleasure, women's masturbation, women's sexual pleasure, etc. and the image results were AWFUL. I think I searched "women's pleasure" and ended up with a bunch of pictures of shoes and the rest were almost all male-gazey pictures.

They were also all white women in the photos. At first I was going to make the photos all-inclusive but uhhhh yeah, no luck.

Kind of glad it happened that way though, otherwise Rihanna never would have become the matron saint of this post.

….that said, the example of 'needing' an electric mechanism because you can't come like a porn star is a HORRIFYING story and an interesting looking documentary.

Yeah, when they showed that in the trailer for the documentary my jaw dropped for real. Who would EVER think that was a good idea/necessary?

I also don't like how inflating this "problem" so much leaves the few women who actually do have some sort of problem in a sea of sharks when it comes to looking for help. Some of their cures are just totally insane.
