I work in internet marketing, and I find this so incredibly amusing. I doubt he's going to be able to make that shit go away - or even drop off the first page - any time soon.

Me too. And seriously, this article is annoying. Google isn't in the business of providing phony results!? That's not the issue here. The issue is they redefined the word and the other results are now equally/more relevant. Sheersh

What would a "phony search result" even BE? That's not how the algorithm works. All the results are "real".

I work in internet marketing, too. Santorum's marketing team really screwed the pooch here. And the sheer amount of backlinks that the Santorum definition site has now. Yeah, there's no stopping that train.
