Seriously. When HE is the best option they can come up with, that pretty much proves a total lack of . . . well, anything resembling humanity, decency, compassion, ethics--you could go on forever.

To borrow a phrase from Steel Magnolias, Newt Gingrich is a boil on the butt of humanity.

I had a boil (or more correctly, an abscess, but same difference) on my butt last week, and let me tell you, I fully understand the horror of that statement now. I had to go to the ER.

/cool story

OMG, they're horrible, aren't they? I had one in grad school, and ... yeah, I was taking three kinds of OTC painkillers to even be able to sleep until it was ready to lance. :-/

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I was so incredibly lucky that when I had one in college, and the doc sent me home because it wasn't ready to lance, it burst by itself later that day. Some of the sweetest relief I've ever felt.

He'd be in the line with a cartload of shit arguing with the cashier:

"But I NEED 90 filet mignons! 30 days times 3 meals a day = 90!! How do you expect me to get through a whole month with less than that?! THESE FOOD PRICES ARE AN OUTRAGE!!"

There are people being disgusting in the comments. No seriously, even in the sea of horrible things people keep recounting about being poor, there are a few "What about me? i'm not poor and my life is shitty too!" assholes, bootstraps assholes, and "Why don't you just not be poor then?" assholes in the comments.

I hate everybody.

Really poor children, in really poor neighborhoods, have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works, so they have no habit of showing up on Monday. They have no habit of staying all day; they have no habit of "I do this and you give me cash," unless it is illegal.

Or maybe, they don't want to be like their parents, who worked two to three jobs just to scrape by.

i think what he's inferring here is that poor children live with parents that leech off of welfare so they're not used to seeing people work.

ugh.
