Bull breeds are the best and you should own a million of them!

I worked at a vet for awhile and yeah, they are. They were all loves and would put up with being poked and prodded by strangers with no problem. No are helping meeeeee? I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE you! Now admittedly, we never saw fighting dogs because nobody would bring them into the vet, but did see wide crosssection of pets. I looooooooooooooooooooooooooove you!

pretty well the only injuries techs ever got from the bullbreeds was accidental scratches from them trying to sit on you or jumping to trying and lick you. LOOOOOOOVE ME! I HAVE A SATELITE DISH ON MY HEAD! I CANNOT REACH YOU! OMG! HOW WILL I GET CLOSE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO LOVE ME! I don't think anyone ever got bitten. small yap-yap dogs were the ones you had to look out for on biting.

The shelter I volunteer at always has a zillion pit bulls and bully mixes and omg if those dogs could actually crawl inside of your skin they would. The only reason I say I'd never own one is that I actually can't handle that level of all-consuming love directed at me. I have hounds. They are much more concerned with a soft bed and full food dish than my opinion of them.

Yeah, I take my dog to work with me every day and much as I enjoy the bully breeds, they scare people when they greet them at the door! also can knock over small children with the LUVS. So I have a little 16 pound mixed breed rescue instead that is interested in people, but not zelcroed to them. she'll come say hi, then go settle down out from underfoot.

Haha, right? We foster pitties and the one we have right now would let me carry it around in one of those Moby wraps for babies if I could haul her ass around all day. My shepherd mutt doesn't give me the time of day unless I have a tennis ball in my hand, but these pit fosters really would crawl into my body and sleep there if they could.

I learned that the hard way. I appreciate the love but not the neediness.

Hahahaha we had a foster with one of those satellite dishes on her head and we had to go get one of those inflatable donut things because she kept injuring us with her dish. ALL THE LOVE ALL THE TIME

That thing is so adorable, it looks like a flotation device.

It's comfortable, too! It's like always having a neck pillow, which means naps all the time!

We got one of those for our Yorkie when he had an abcessed anal gland, but between him being slightly longer bodied and limber as an eel, he managed to work around it.
We finally just kept an eye on him for 3 days straight, and he was good enough to leave the open sore alone for us till it healed over.
