WHAAAAAAT. LIARS. Maybe something in regular bacon may cause rectal cancer, but pork in itself isn't the culprit. I'm guessing it's nitrites/nitrates/some other crap they add that isn't necessary for it to be bacon.

Hell, I switched to eating eggs and bacon every morning instead of oatmeal (I did a month-long experiment cutting out grains and reducing sugar intake) and LOST TEN POUNDS. ON BACON and other fatty (and lean!) meats EVERY DAY.

I was actually watching something on tv this morning about a chef who cooks with lard and loves it. Her reasoning is that we've been doing it for centuries and there hasn't been any problem until recently, so it can't be the lard that's at fault. Makes sense to me!

Bwahahahaha...

That's awesome!

I want to write her a letter explaining that it's actually the weather satellites that make lard bad, but (seeing how we can't shoot the darn things out of orbit) the lard eaters are SOL!
