Plus Maine voted same-day registration back in! We went 3 for 4 tonight (Ohio approved their "no health insurance mandate" amendment to their constitution).

I'm so confused about the 'no health insurance mandate' thing. I hadn't even heard about it before today, damn, everything local and online was really focused on Issue 2. @_@

I KNOW! i feel like issue 3 would have done better if it had been talked about more. :( but i'm glad issue 2 failed at least, as well as the personhood bill in mississippi! i was so nervous about both of them all day.

Word, glad 2 failed, kinda pissed about 3 but whatever, I'm a rampant optimist who believes federal law will trump state law. i know, i know, i live on another planet.

Which I think was a major mistake. So many people I know that voted against Issue 2 knew nothing about Issue 3, and the language of the proposal when people got to the voting booth made it seem innocent, so they voted for it.

IKR?!!! PARTAAAAYYYY UP IN HERE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Even Boehner's crazy Republican district (mine) voted it down. SUCK IT, BOEHNER. With 295 out of 299 precincts reporting, it was 54.25% NO on Issue 2.
