For me, it's always other black women that want to touch my hair. And some just do without asking. I've only ever encounter one white woman who's done so. Either way, it's so awkward.
And I need to find away to do my hair for when winter comes. I usually wet it to get the bedhead out and then put a moisturizer in it, but it freezes while I wait for the bus. I don't like the separate and twist method because it doesnt come out the way I want it.

That was me, probably. A lot of my products use quite fragrant natural oils (and if they don't I add my own) so people often treat me like a scented candle at Bath & Body Works.
OT: I would love to find some pumpkin oil to a holiday ~scent to my hair. LOL

I haven't gotten pumpkin oil specifically but I get lots of my stuff through this site, and they do seem to have it, so maybe that? http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/search/search.php?refine=y&keywords=pumpkin&x=0&y=0

Second, my default icon is myself wearing a wig and I really need to update it but anyway. It's oooold.
Third: I don't get a lot of people who want to touch my hair when it's loose, but all of my close friends love "squishing" my poof. They think it's so cute and soft. They were my support when I first decided to transition. Right now, I've been keeping my hair in kinky twists because it's easier for me to deal with since my life is getting hectic.
Right now I use tea tree oil and shea butter oil to moisturize, and I shampoo and condition with Carol's Daughter brand products. They're in stock at my local Sephora so I don't have to go out of my way to find them.

Bookmarked for later use (i.e. after writing 26 pages of assignment until ermm ... tomorrow morning. I know, I know.)
I seem to be one of the type-3s. Which bugs me, because I'm a low-maintenance fan, so a hairstyle that means care to at least look decent is not my favorite. So I usually go for a simple braid or a tight bun when the hair is still wet, so that I have as little fly-away hair as possible and can avoid knots the next morning.
But ever since seeing Antonia Thomas on Misfits, I kinda want my hair to be done up like hers. So this post is a blessing for someone who thinks about trying out more with her hair. So, thanks! :D
