NGL, If I had no idea what a haka was (what up, fellow Rugby players!) it would freak me the fuck out if some guys randomly started doing one in the middle of the crowd. They can be TERRIFYING! That's the POINT!

The US does have a team! They played in the World Cup in the pool stages but didn't make it to the quarter-finals. I watched their match against Russia and they're not bad.

Ah, I love international sports. Especially ones that involve muscular men in tight shorts.

And this is one of the many reasons I love me some Rugby.

Given the number of Polynesians who live in Utah, I would think there would be some sort of awareness on the police's part, but I'm going to guess that they skip over that "brown" cultural stuff in their training and go straight to "pepper spray anything different". Ugh.

Yeah, I live in Utah, and at almost every school talent show I've gone to they've had the haka.

I got up early (early for a Sunday anyway) and watched the match. Nail-biting but oh so good. Thrilled that New Zealand won!

I did wonder which haka they would do beforehand though, there's two they do. Ka Mate and Kapa O Pango (which is the one in the video).

Yeah but in this, everyone told the police it was okay - and looking at the video in the source I don't think it was threatening, nobody was running away screaming ;)

Are you celebrating today with the kiwi win?
