I... am so ashamed of my school. I'm a current student at ASU (though not on campus at the moment), and this just makes me really depressed. I don't think I've met anyone this douchebro, but at the same time, I keep to a pretty small social group.

But honestly, why are these claims getting worse and worse in how wrong they are? The idea that women have NEVER been oppressed? Really?

Specifically, MRMg advocates for the establishment of a Male Studies Dept. at ASU, and against new standards for prosecution of campus sexual assault cases, which the group feels unfairly favor the accuser.

Ah, right. We're infringing on his right to deny women the right to say no to his male right to have sex on demand.

I knew it would be something like that.

I love this idea that anywhere in this country, sexual assault charges/cases EVER favor the accuser. EVAAAAAAAAR. I mean, I have a high tolerance for bullshit but you need hip-waders for that nonsense.

Someone should inform them they can save all sorts of time from having to use different words and such, because all of this can be neatly summed up as "BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Sounds like this male has never even met a female.

I hope it stays that way, for everyone's sake.

I don't want him meeting other males either - I don't need, say, the boys in my life whose attitudes on women are currently forming influenced by him, you know?

I suppose those hurtful nasty men-oppressing feminists made up the accusation that there used to be laws preventing women from owning property or voting just to make it seem like women had ever been "systematically oppressed."

We're very crafty that way.

Naah, didn't you read? Those laws were examples of men protecting and nurturing women. Yep. Totally. Didn't need that legal person-hood anyway. Mmmhmmn.
