Thank god, some people in charge of education and funding actually give a fuck about education and funding, and not jut their own wallets. If only some other superintendents, and deans would feel the same...

Well, he's actually being paid $31k/year, and no benefits, so he's doing a really great thing, but he's nor working for free.

I'm glad to see this here. I dig that this guy knows there's such a thing as having enough money. And that he's doing this in what is known as the Bible Belt of California--really, it's the Texas of California--means a lot too. This will be a new concept to many IMO.
