Britain was once an ordered society that was the envy of the world - the most civilised, the most gentle and law-abiding.

On what planet? Certainly not this one. Envied? Maybe. Feared? Hell yeah. For being brutal, racist, and imperialistic. Not civilised, gentle, or law-abiding. *stares in disbelief* Someone clearly failed their History A-levels, didn't she?

So law abiding that Sir Robert Peel had to organise the 'Peelers', the fore-runners of today's Metropolitan police force. Yeah. Whatever. *rolls eyes* So gentle that people (including CHILDREN) were frequently thrown into prison for being unable to pay their debts, never to be seen again.

FAIL, Ms Philips... Go back to school and let me know when you actually know your history correctly. I'm not even British and I know this shit backwards and forwards.
