Debt-hit students urged to sell their kidneys

STUDENTS should be able to sell their kidneys for tens of thousands of pounds to pay off university debts, according to a Scots academic.

Sue Rabbitt Roff believes making it legal to sell the body part would boost the number of organs available to save lives and help students struggling with money.

WTF? )

wtf, fuckery, student loans, not the onion, not helping, health care, students, ethics, health, uk

And that people are seriously considering it. (Hell with my student loan debt if someone said, hey for a kidney it would all be done I'd do it).

Yeah, I don't understand legislators who look at high tuition rates and don't say "We need to lower tuition rates and/or provide resources to help the poor pay for college", but instead say "Hm, they should be allowed to sell their organs!"
