I was thinking the exact same thing.

Also, comparing them to women from a chick flick rubs me the wrong way. I don't like either of them, but not because they're "catty females", but because both of their IQs combined equal less than that of a rock.

This reminds me of some of the Huntsman/Romney articles out there - like they can't just be running for president, they have to specifically be running against the other person thinking about running who shares some similarities with them. At least the Huntsman/Romney stuff has some basis in reality, though, what with the two families actually having known each other.

Yeah, and Huntsman knows that Romney is the guy to beat in the primary, so he's been making some anti-Romney remarks of late so it's not completely unfounded.

Also, Romney/Huckabee. It was widely reported that the two hate each other's guts and that Huckabee (before he decided not to run) was rumored to have his people planning out a full-scale assault on Romney via gathering everything he could find on Romney in order to share it with top Tea Party Astroturf brass in order to get them to launch a political hit on Romney via the Tea Party in order to eliminate him before the primaries officially began.

...uh? I'm really tired of this 'catty women' stereotype. Most women genuinely appreciate other women and may mean this compliment genuinely, not to mention that some of us are attracted to women and when we praise another woman's beauty it means we're attracted to her.

Sure they are competing with each other - but it's less about the fact that they are women candidates (NOT GIRLS) but more about the fact that their constituencies are essentially the same!

The writer also said they are both female. At least they went with "female" instead of "females", but I honestly would've preferred if they'd said P&B are both women. IDK, somehow it just sounds like the author checked the genitalia and went "Yep, female."

Maybe I'm not making sense. O.O'
