A federal appeals court today refused to allow same-sex marriages to proceed immediately in California while the legal challenge to Proposition 8 continues to unfold.

given that the hole issue is in limbo becous of the appal and what have you, i suspect that this is the most sensable ruling untill the issue is heard. its not pritty, but the law isnt neccerly.
